Cloud Paints is the flagship brand of Cloudsent Decor Ltd — a Nairobi-based manufacturer of premium decorative paints, coatings and solvents. Incorporated in 2018, built on a decade of home-décor and gypsum-fitting experience, and trusted on projects from Kitengela to Kilifi.

Cloudsent Decor Ltd has been transforming Kenyan interiors for over a decade — specialising in home décor, interior planning and gypsum fittings. Then something started happening. Customer after customer kept asking us where we sourced our paint from, and whether they could buy the same quality for their own projects.

The truth is we struggled to find paints that stood up to Kenya's climate the way we wanted them to. So we stopped looking for suppliers — and became one ourselves. Cloud Paints sprung to life in 2018 as a radiant pulse of colour, and we've been perfecting the range ever since.

Today our scientists, chemists and technologists are fully dedicated to extensive research in paint technologies — while maintaining a fine ecological balance of protecting, beautifying and enhancing the environment around us.

Colour consistency and quality are our focus. Our customers can be confident that the colour on their home, establishment or project is exactly what they chose — and paid for.

2011

Décor begins

Cloudsent Decor Ltd launches as a home décor, interior planning and gypsum fitting studio in Nairobi.

2018

Cloud Paints born

Manufacturing begins in Industrial Area, Nairobi — a radiant pulse of colour after years of sourcing frustration.

2020

Quality certified

Independent quality testing confirms every product in the range. Our formulations meet Kenya Bureau of Standards benchmarks.

Every batch that leaves our factory is lab-tested for coverage, adhesion, drying time and durability. We formulate to meet Kenya Bureau of Standards benchmarks — and then exceed them.

Batch tested

Every production run is tested in-house before dispatch. Colour, viscosity, coverage — nothing ships out of spec.

Kenya-formulated

Formulated for Kenya's climate — our pigment ratios account for coast humidity, highland UV and interior dust.

Consistent stock

Same-day stock in Industrial Area. Trade customers and retail orders fulfilled from a live warehouse — no back-orders.

KEBS Standardisation Mark

Cloud Paints products are permitted to carry the Kenya Bureau of Standards Standardisation Mark — the mark awarded only to products independently verified against the relevant Kenya Standard. Look for it on the tin.

How it gets made

Formulated, tinted, delivered.

Step 01

Formulated

Our chemists start with strict quality specs — coverage, drying, fungus resistance, anti-carbonation — then dial in a formula that works in Kenya's humidity, UV and dust. Every batch is lab-tested before it leaves the factory.

Step 02

Tinted

Bring us any colour — a Pantone, a RAL, a paint chip, a photo on your phone. We mix it in-house, in our dedicated tinting bay with computer-controlled dispensers for exact repeatability, bucket after bucket.

Step 03

Delivered

From one bucket to a trailer load — we ship across Kenya. Nairobi orders typically go out same-day; upcountry as quickly as the courier allows. Trade accounts can call direct on WhatsApp and we'll have it on a van by afternoon.
